I agree. It is a matter of when not if! BLAG and the GOP are wasting valuable taxpayer money arguing against the inevitable! It is just wasteful and stupid!

What? Log Cabin has no comment on this for the Blade? I mean didn’t Clarke Cooper publicly endorse and defend Speaker Boehner’s hiring of Paul Clement and the House’s vigorous defense of DOMA claims? Surprised that LCR would miss an opportunity to lob another convoluted attack of President Obama for directing the DOJ to allow the lower court rulings overturning DOMA to go unchallenged?

Sorry LCR, but no matter how you try to spin it, when you stood with the Speaker on this, you stood against an 83 year old widow and the LGBT community as a whole. For all of us, this is personal, not political. Contrary to the GOP view, we are real people and there are real consequences to the self-serving game that LCR is playing in supporting the BLAG defense. Perhaps LCR should consider that the next time it panders for its handlers.
