Remember the many clients of the MRFF (Military Religious Freedom Foundation). Remember, about 75% of military Chaplains are radical evangelicals. Don't be so naive. The original DADT legislation, according to Pres. Clinton, was to have no witch hunts. Look how well that turned out. If something happens, and you are surrounded by Homophobes, you will be dead in the water. An evangelical pay any attention to the Uniform Code of Military Justice? Possibly, but probably not.
If Tony Perkins is happy, we should be very worried.

This language, I thought, was already part of DoD policy. As a gay SM, I really don't see any adverse consequences for gays. Actions and speech are key: those are how Christian morals manifest themselves, and those with homophobic tones will be dealt with in accordance with EO policy and the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
