I would hope that Sen. Kerry has come around from his prior refusal to support transgender civil rights. He now maybe a nominal supporter of trans rights, but I'd like to see someone who will really mean it and be a champion of inclusive LGBT equality.

Kerry’s record on “fully inclusive” LGBT rights has, in the past, been less than stellar! I would like to see and hear an overt positive statement and action that indicates he has changed and is proactive for transgender people.
