I have yet to meet a single Southern Baptist / Evangelical that favors same-sex marriage or any form of gay empowerment. I'd love to meet them and would love to believe you but I find it extremely difficult to believe "lots" of them care. This kidnapping is more common than support for LGBT rights.

It seems to me that most of the L.G.B.T. community's problems come from the great state of North Carolina. If we have a family member that is stationed with the strategic air command, that S.M. should attempt to launch an ICBM on said "great state" and vaporize these moronic pin heads!

Kidnapping and assault are serious felonies. This appears to be a serious violation of the gay man's civil rights.

Faith in America ought keep their eyes on that ball.

My recollection is that NC's hate crimes law does NOT include sexual orientation and gender identity. So what USDOJ and the FBI does about investigating this organization really matters.

Maybe there is something the NC Attorney General's office/ State Bureau of Investigation can still do about it, though, through more general civil rights law. The AG is longstanding-- 10 years or more-- and is a popular Democrat, often mentioned for higher office.

"Hate speech" in America is not, in and of itself, a crime. Nor should it be, given the First Amendment to our Constitution. However hate speech can be, and IS used to prove hate crime motive of other designated criminal acts-- e.g., property damage, assault, kidnapping, homicide, etc. where hate crimes laws apply.

BTW, lots of Southern Baptists and Evangelicals favor LGBT rights, marriage equality or domestic partnerships, to one degree or another. And that's a growing number. It is important not to use broad, negative stereotypes ourselves, or to stiff-arm those who are moving in our direction.

I'm sure what happened is the DEMONIC CHURCH GOT A WHOLE POO LOAD OF THEIR PEOPLE TO complain the website was offensive.

You tube has most of its people in the far east and do not understand the issues.

That makes these molester churches doubly horrific. Reminds me of a pastor Norley who during the issue of a constitutional amendment to ban marriage equality said "gays belong behind an electrified fence.

That's exactly what happened to them I Germany = the death camps.

Welcome to the minds of some southern baptists / evangelists. We need hate speech laws and a devils Island for them.
