I never built a life with a boyfriend when I was young. I was Gay bashed and bullied. I did not want to be in a relationship without the benefit of a state sanctioned marriage. No one ever punished him by the state. I still suffer from anxiety and what feels like PTSD. Now I really don’t like going out.
