GOProud supports the GOP who is keeping DOMA in place. It doesn't atter what GOProud wants so long as they support the GOP. If they truely want to advance the LGBT equality they would support the Democrats. GOProud is a lame out-of-touch organization.

Typical Republicans. Civil unions are better than nothing, sure, but why demand only the barest minimum, when what we deserve is nothing less than true marriage?

This group is so irrelevant. They are in dire need of a good PR firm. They need to focus on economic prosperity for the gay men and women, fight racism within the community and within the Republican Party. Stop being circuit queens and status whores and focus on principles that matter for the community.

GOProud has some wealthy super-conservative old queens backing it and not much else going for it. They endorsed Mitt Romney last year. This year they finally, tepidly endorsed gay marriage. Why don’t they just spend the old girls’ money on a national billboard campaign of one word “irrelevant” ’cause that’s all that this group’s actions telegraph?

GOProud remains confused by the entire concept of equality. By its nature, equality is endowed not bestowed. Using their logic, GOProud would have expressed opposition to segregation but condemned that pesky Supreme Court for meddling in a state’s affairs. Would LaSalvia have endorsed the righteous citizen’s of Mississippi voting on civil rights issues?

GOProud is clinging by their finger nails from becoming irrelevant. Ironic that LCR would be the only ones who appreciated their sentiment. Then again do the perspectives of two irrelevants really matter all that much?

Like the LCR I despise this group very much. They do nothing for the LGBT but turn their backs on us and support the GOP who does absolutely nothing for the LGBT – oh yes they actually do support keeping DOMA in place. My bad!
