Alvin Ailey dance theater returns to Kennedy Center

The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, under the direction of Artistic Director Robert Battle, returns to the Kennedy Center Opera House Feb. 5-10 for a series of performances.

“Petite Mort,” “Minus 16″ and “Revelations” are part of Program A. “Arden Court,” “Takademe,” “Grace” and “Revelations” are part of Program B. “From Before,” “Strange Humors,” “Another Night” and “Revelations” are Program C. A Renee Robinson Farewell show will also be performed.

Ailey was a gay dance legend who died in 1989. Visit the Kennedy Center for details.
