Right, because it's totally impossible for a gay person to advocate for gay rights and fiscal conservatism/limited government simultaneously. Are you really that inflexible in your ideological thinking and allegiances? Come on -- you effect change on institutions and thinking from the inside, not from the outside!

Huh? What's a BID got to do with stopping this crazy couple and their cohorts from permanently harming the neighborhood and REDUCING the existing positive quality-of-life? After the area goes through a bloodbath that will take up most of the year to defeat this crazy thing then there will be time for extraneous discussions like that.

These "newly formed" 'citizens" groups are phony fronts for a gaggle (about 4 people) of quacks on Wallach Place. They are trying to suck in other ANC etc., to give themselves the appearance of legitimacy.

Newsflash! ANC 2F wants nothing to do with this and I hope our commissioners make this clear and don't waste a lot of time here. We have mechanisms long in place for these issues and don't want your divisive tactics just as we wanted nothing to do with the 17th moratorium crowd that tore the Dupont Circle community apart and then skulked off to Virginia.

I see no reason to waste time with a joint meeting or to give this any more consideration. They are simply playing on people like Chairman Matt Raymond's good nature. Each ANC can simply demand the proposed petition be amended to not include their jurisdictions. Case closed! The more we feed this maw the more energized these nuts will get because ultimately they love the attention. We have a community to strengthen, lets move on!
