All of the other bidding cities for Gay Games X (2018) are in Europe, so President Obama is giving a home team endorsement.

Hillary Clinton sent a video thanking Gay Games VIII, Cologne 2010 (Germany) and welcomed participants to Gay Games Nine, Cleveland 2014.

The 5 cities bidding for 2018 Gay Games are Amsterdam, Limerick, London, Orlando, and Paris. The list will go to 3 finalists after the Federation of Gay Games votes on a short list. The final vote for 2018 will be in October 2013, at a site selection vote in Cleveland, OH. Cleveland-Akron are hosting the 2014 Gay Games in August 2014.
