Yet, the Administration claims just the opposite, to excuse the President's broken 2008 campaign promise for a LGBTQ inclusive employment nondiscrimination executive order. He now insists that the difference he is empowered to make as President is not worthwhile, unless a more perfect (and politically impossible) legislative ENDA law is achieved first. The false dichotomy in his logic and the mockery in his words about "the basic bargain that built this country" are beyond cynical. As a single parent and trans woman with a Ph.D. in engineering, more than 30 years of business and academic accomplishment and in my 5th year of unemployment and life on the road, I am beyond disappointed.
