Westminster Presbyterian Church (400 I St., SW) hosts “Party With a Purpose: The Old School Music Dance Party” in benefit of the Mary’s House for Older Adults, Inc. and Metropolitan Community Church of Washington on Saturday from 3-8 p.m.

Mary’s House is a developing residential facility that is LGBT friendly and it is a response to bigoted and prejudicial practices in housing directed toward older adults who are part of the LGBT community. Metropolitan Community Church is an inclusive church that accepts everyone despite age, race, gender and sexual orientation.

Tickets are $25. There will be a DJ and dancing. Bring your own beverage. Ice and cups provided. Soft drinks available for $1.
