The totals are in from the Ride for the Feast, the two-day, 140-mile bike ride from Ocean City to Baltimore in May to benefit Moveable Feast. The organization announced it raised more than $570,000, making it the most successful Ride for the Feast event ever. According to the announcement, “that’s enough to feed over 420 severely ill Marylanders for an entire year.”   Since 2003, the event has been one of the principal fundraising sources for the organization.

Moveable Feast is a longstanding Baltimore nonprofit organization that provides lifesaving, nutritious foods for low-income Marylanders living with HIV/AIDS, breast cancer and other life-threatening conditions at no cost.
