American Century Theater (2700 South Lang St., Arlington, Va.) features a re-imagined production of the classic Harvey Schmidt musical “I Do! I Do!” this weekend and through August.

This weekend, there will be an 8 p.m. performance tonight, a 2:30 p.m. matinee and 8 p.m. show on Saturday and a 2:30 p.m. matinee on Sunday.

The ACT version of the musical, directed by Jack Marshall, still addresses themes of marriage but with gay and lesbian relationships in addition to the show’s original marriage between characters Michael and Agnes.

Admission is $35 for the matinees and $40 for the evening shows. For more details, visit americancentury.org.
