The Baltimore Mayor’s Office of Human Services is seeking several volunteers to help assess the city’s emergency shelters for their ability to meet the needs of LGBT people who become homeless. The volunteer commitment is for two to three hours per month for up to three months. Training, assessment, and educational materials will be provided.

A training session is tentatively scheduled for Monday, Nov. 4, at 6:30 p.m. to take place at Equality Maryland’s offices, 1201 South Sharp St., Suite 109, in Baltimore. Anyone interested in helping can e-mail doug@equalitymaryland.org.
