The Baltimore Police Commissioner’s LGBT Advisory Council Meeting has scheduled a community meeting with Baltimore Police Commissioner Anthony W. Batts. It will take place on April 14 from 7- 9 p.m. at the Northwest District Community Action Center, 3939 Reisterstown Rd. in Baltimore.

The Advisory Council indicated that Commissioner Batts is eager to hear from members of Baltimore’s LGBT community and request that folks attend to share any compliments, concerns and thoughts.

The 10-member advisory council, announced last June, consists of advocates within the LGBT community and members of the Baltimore City Police Department including Commissioner Batts. Its mission is to seek ways to improve the relationship between the LGBT community and the police.
