The Latino GLBT History Project (LHP) presents its eighth annual D.C. Latino Pride Celebration Sunday through June 5 at various locations around the District.

On Sunday, there will be “La Coronación,” the Project’s 2014-2015 Royal Court Coronation, at Cobalt (1639 R St., N.W.) from 10 p.m.-2 a.m. Royal Court members include Miss Latino GLBT History Project Gladys Gonzalez and Mr. Latino GLBT History Project Juan Alvarez. There will also be special drag performances by Roxy Saint Cartier, Mayline Guerreo and many more. On Thursday, there is “La Plática Panel Discussion: Community and Family Supporting Latino LGBT Youth,” a panel discussion about the challenges facing LGBT Latino youth, at the Human Rights Campaign Equality Forum (1640 Rhode Island Ave., N.W.) from 6-9 p.m. A reception with appetizers and wine follows the panel.

There is a $5 suggested donation for both events. Guests must be 21 or older to attend “La Coronación.” For more details, visit latinoglbthistory.org.
