Reel Affirmations, an LGBT film festival, continues its occasional series with two film premieres Friday night (July 18):  “Grind” and “The 10 Year Plan,” at the Human Rights Campaign (1640 Rhode Island Ave., N.W.) at 7 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. respectively.

“Grind” stars Anthony Rapp from the award-winning film and Broadway musical “RENT.” It tells the story of Vincent, a witty guy who isn’t confident with his looks, and Thane, an attractive underwear model who lacks in personality, who combine their positive traits on a dating app profile to find men. “The 10 Year Plan” is a romantic comedy about two friends, Myles and Brody, who make a pact to be together if they’re both single in 10 years.

Tickets are $10. For more information, visit reelaffirmations.org.
