‘Summertime’ film is lesbian romance

Reel Affirmations premieres “Summertime,” directed by Catherine Corsini, at the Human Rights Campaign Building (1640 Rhode Island Ave., N.W.) Friday, July 22 at 7 and 9 p.m.

The film tells the story of Carole and Delphine, two women living in Paris, who fall in love in 1971 and the array of challenges they face to stay together.
