Whitman-Walker Health hosts its Walk & 5K to End HIV, a fundraising walk and timed run, at Freedom Plaza (1455 Pennsylvania Ave., N.W.) on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 7 a.m.

The walk and run will begin and end at Freedom Plaza. Check-in begins at 7 a.m. The 5K kicks off at 9:15 a.m. and the walk starts at 9:20 a.m. Runner registration is $35, walker registration is $25, student/senior walkers are $15. Sleepwalkers, people who wish to donate but cannot attend, are $40.

Following the run, the Whitman-Walker Health for Brunch to End HIV will be held. Participating restaurants will donate a portion of their brunch sales to benefit Whitman-Walker Health on Oct. 28-29. Restaurants include Lincoln, Teddy & the Bully Bar, Shaw’s Tavern, Compass Rose and more.
