Comedians Cameron Esposito and Rhea Butcher have split.

The married couple announced their separation on each of their Twitter accounts.

“Cameron & I are separating to live individual lives for a time. We care very much about each other & that’s why we’re doing this. We’re gonna talk to our friends about it & be pretty private in public. Thanks for your kindness and understanding,” Butcher posted.

“Rhea & i are separating to live individual lives for a time. We care very much about each other & that’s why we’re doing this. We’re gonna talk to our friends about it & be pretty private in public. Thanks for your kindness and understanding,” Esposito wrote.

Butcher and Esposito married in 2015. They also have a number of professional projects together including their podcast “Put Your Hands Together” and their joint stand-up album “Back to Back.” They also have the sitcom  “Take My Wife,” which is loosely based on their relationship.
