Volunteers provide general mental illness information and make referrals to community resources. Training is provided. Applicants should have a general understanding of mental illness, communicate with understanding and empathy, have good writing skills, and be able to reliably devote four hours a week between 10 am and 6 pm, Monday through Friday, for at least four-six months.
