The Policy Counsel/Policy Analyst, Transgender Civil Rights Project is a critical member of a team working on issues related to transgender civil rights. This position provides analysis & advice to local & state activists & organizations, as well as manages the Task Force’s federal agency & Congressional advocacy & education efforts related to transgender civil rights.


Qualifications: 


J.D. degree preferred. At least one year of experience working for transgender rights, which can be met through volunteer, unpaid activities. Excellent research, writing, editing, & oral communication skills required, including public speaking. Ability to patiently work with, & educate, those inside & outside of the LGBT movement who are not yet fully acting in a trans-inclusive manner.
