B.O.I. Marketing & Promotions holds carnival-themed event

B.O.I. Marketing & Promotions held the carnival-themed 2012 Capital Queer Prom on Saturday, March 24 at the Almas Shriners Ballroom in Washington, D.C. Stephanie Johnson of the D.C. Kings and the Deaf Abused Women’s Network was voted prom queen and Mark Guenther of the Capital Area Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce was voted prom king. Proceeds from the event were slated to go to Transgender Health Empowerment.

Wicked Green Pool Party, fireworks among festivities

Vacationers and residents alike enjoyed Independence Day Weekend activities in Rehoboth Beach, Del. The Wicked Green Pool Party drew hundreds to the CAMP Rehoboth fundraiser on Saturday. That evening, revelers went to the rooftops to watch the fireworks display.

The fifth annual Fredericksburg Pride march and festival was held on Saturday, June 28. A march through the streets of downtown Fredericksburg, Va. was followed by a festival at Riverfront Park.
