‘LGBT newspaper of record’ celebrates milestone
The Washington Blade celebrated its 50th anniversary at a gala at the Intercontinental Hotel at the Wharf on Friday. Speakers included Mayor Muriel Bowser, philanthropist Ariadne Getty and Rep. David Cicilline (D-R.I.). Entertainment was provided by singer Frenchie Davis.
