PHOTOS: Washington Wizards Pride Night
Local drag performer Shi-Queeta-Lee serves as emcee
The Washington Wizards hosted its annual Pride Night at Capital One Arena on Friday. Local drag legend Shi-Queeta-Lee served as the emcee, the GenOUT LGBTQ Youth Chorus sang the national anthem and burlesque drag performer Betty O’Hellno led the Wizards Dance Team in the halftime show. A raffle was held to benefit the LGBTQ youth services organization SMYAL.
The Atlantic Hawks narrowly defeated the Washington Wizards with a final score of 117-114.

The 2026 Mr. Mid-Atlantic Leather competition was held at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill on Sunday. Seven contestants vied for the title and Gage Ryder was named the winner.
