Capital Trans Pride 2011

The fifth annual Capital Trans Pride was held at the Metropolitan Community Church of Washington on Saturday. The event focused on trans health and safety issues with panel discussions on such topics as transitioning, hate crimes and HIV/AIDS. The keynote speaker, renowned surgeon Dr. Marci Bowers, was introduced by Maryland political figure Dr. Dana Beyer.
