Team DC sponsored annual LGBTQ gathering at Nats Park

Team DC sponsored an annual LGBT community outing to Nationals Park for the Washington Nationals vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks game on Tuesday, June 25. The ceremonial first pitch was thrown by openly gay Division I football player Alan Gendreau, the National Anthem was performed by the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, White House Associate Director of Public Engagement for LGBT Issues Gautam Raghavan participated in the lineup card delivery and Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D-Wisc.) announced “play ball” from the microphone.

WorldPride 2025 concluded with the WorldPride Street Festival and Closing Concert held along Pennsylvania Ave., N.W. on Sunday, June 8. Performers on the main stage included Doechii, Khalid, Courtney Act, Parker Matthews, 2AM Ricky, Suzie Toot, MkX and Brooke Eden.

The 2025 WorldPride Parade was held in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, June 7. Laverne Cox and Renée Rapp were the grand marshals.
