Deva Station crowned at Town
The Miss Gay D.C. America pageant was held at Town Danceboutique on March 28. Deva Station was crowned Miss Gay D.C. America 2015, with Rushena Fontaine coming in second place also qualifying for the Miss Gay America pageant in Memphis, Tenn. in October.

A “No Kings” demonstration was held in Anacostia on Saturday to protest the Trump administration. Speakers at the rally included LGBTQ activist, Rayceen Pendarvis. Following the rally, demonstrators marched across the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge.
