The Young Playwrights’ Theater’s award-winning student theater ensemble, the Young Playwrights’ Workshop, will be performing their original play, “Out of the Shadow,” on Saturday at noon in the Baldacchino Tent of Fort Fringe (607 New York Ave.) as part of Capital Fringe.

As the only Fringe play this year written and performed by a youth ensemble, D.C. students take a stand against bullying by presenting multiple perspectives and sharing important stories.

Tickets are $17 and can be purchased online at capfringe.org. For more information on the play and the workshop, visit yptdc.org.
