Whitman-Walker Health held its annual spring affair at the Carnegie Institution of Science on Thursday. This year’s event, called “Be the Care,” was emceed by Gwen Ifill. Whitman-Walker Chief Medical Officer Dr. Raymond Martins presented Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius with the Partner for Life Award. Whitman-Walker Health was presented with a check from CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield for $150,000.
