B.O.I. Marketing & Promotions holds carnival-themed event
B.O.I. Marketing & Promotions held the carnival-themed 2012 Capital Queer Prom on Saturday, March 24 at the Almas Shriners Ballroom in Washington, D.C. Stephanie Johnson of the D.C. Kings and the Deaf Abused Women’s Network was voted prom queen and Mark Guenther of the Capital Area Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce was voted prom king. Proceeds from the event were slated to go to Transgender Health Empowerment.

The 2026 World Pride March was held on Saturday, Aug. 8 in Amsterdam. Tens of thousands of participants marched from Martin Luther Kingpark to the grounds of the Pride Village at Museumplein.
