B.O.I. Marketing & Promotions holds carnival-themed event
B.O.I. Marketing & Promotions held the carnival-themed 2012 Capital Queer Prom on Saturday, March 24 at the Almas Shriners Ballroom in Washington, D.C. Stephanie Johnson of the D.C. Kings and the Deaf Abused Women’s Network was voted prom queen and Mark Guenther of the Capital Area Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce was voted prom king. Proceeds from the event were slated to go to Transgender Health Empowerment.

Capital Pride Alliance held its annual Pride Reveal party on Thursday at The Schuyler in The Hamilton Hotel in downtown Washington, D.C. “The Fabric of Freedom” was announced as the theme for Pride in 2025. World Pride 2025 will take place in D.C. this summer.
