The Team D.C. Champion Awards took place in the George Washington University City View Room on Saturday, July 20, 2013. The ceremony recognized local LGBT athletes and awarded scholarships to high school students. Former NFL player, Wade Davis, attended as the guest of honor.

The annual CAMP Rehoboth fundraiser, SUNFESTIVAL, was held over Labor Day weekend in Rehoboth Beach, Del. The festival included a massive dance party at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center on Sunday.

The Miss Gay Old Bay pageant was held at The Lodge in Boonsboro, Md. on Friday, Aug. 29. Vanya Varushka was crowned the winner. Glitter Douglas was named first runner-up. Both Varushka and Douglas qualify to compete in the Miss Gay Maryland pageant in October.
