Sedaris brings humor to Lisner Auditorium
Gay author a vet of the New York Times Bestseller list

Bestselling author David Sedaris speaks at the Lisner Auditorium at George Washington University (730 21st St., N.W.) Friday night at 8 p.m. The sold-out event is part of Lisner’s “LisnerTalks” series.
Sedaris frequently discusses his personal life in his books focusing on his middle class upbringing, Greek heritage, drug use and obsessive behaviors with a humorous approach. His latest book “Let’s Explore Diabetes with Owls” debuted this past spring at number one on The New York Times Bestseller list.

The Wanda Alston Foundation held its Fall Reception at the Penthouse Rooftop at The Wharf on Friday, Sept. 18. Honorees included D.C.
