The 37th annualĀ HighĀ HeelĀ RaceĀ was held along Frank Kameny Way on 17th Street, N.W. on Tuesday, Oct. 29. Thousands of spectators gathered to witness the parade of costumed racers pass by. Kenny Monroe of Maryland won theĀ race.

The National LGBTQ Task Force held its annual National Gala at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami Beach, Fla. on Saturday, Oct. 19. Jai Rodriguez emceed the event. “Queer Eye” star Karamo was presented with the National Leadership Award. Performers included Frenchie Davis and Ginger Minj.
