Athletes from across the country came to Washington, D.C. over the weekend to compete in the flag football Gay Bowl XVI. Games were held at the National Polo Fields and West Potomac Park. A “No Kings” demonstration was held in Anacostia on Saturday to protest the Trump administration. Speakers at the rally included LGBTQ activist, Rayceen Pendarvis. Following the rally, demonstrators marched across the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge.
