The GLCCB is holding a family-friendly game night.

Officials at the GLBT Community Center of Baltimore and Central Maryland (GLCCB) believe that in times like these, it is good to make room for a little fun every now and then. In that regard, the GLCCB hosts a family-friendly game night on the second Thursday of the month with the next event to take place on Aug. 10 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

Games such as Taboo, Monopoly, Uno, Scrabble and Spades are offered but participants are free to bring their favorite game from home.

“We strive to provide safe and affirming spaces for folks from all walks of life, and we do so through a lot of specifically targeted programs and outreach initiatives,” Jennifer Eden, the GLCCB’s Program Manager, told the Blade. “But our game night brings folks together across the lines of age, race, class, etc. to relax and have fun.”
