The National LGBTQ Task Force produced the annual Winter Party Festival in Miami from Feb. 27 to March 5. The theme this year was ‘With Open Arms.’

‘The Festival’s theme means we welcome everyone to the LGBTQ movement,” said Rea Carey, executive director of the National LGBTQ Task Force through a press release. ‘The Task Force creates spaces for everyone to connect with community while enjoying incredible venues, international artists, and embracing our slogan, ‘Be You.’’ (Photos courtesy of the Winter Party Festival)

The Human Rights Campaign National Dinner was held at the Washington Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 26. Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D-Mich.) was the keynote speaker. Awards were presented to Marcia Gay Hardin, Junior LaBeija and André De Shields. Nina West of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ performed.
