Event honored LGBTQ women in D.C.
The Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ Affairs partnered with the Washington Blade to produce the 40 Under 40 Party recognizing the accomplishments of queer women in D.C. The party was held at the Google office in D.C. on Wednesday, March 27. Click here to see the list of honorees. Denali (@denalifoxx) of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” performed at Pitchers DC on April 9 for the Thirst Trap Thursday drag show. Other performers included Cake Pop!, Brooke N Hymen, Stacy Monique-Max and Silver Ware Sidora.

A “No Kings” demonstration was held in Anacostia on Saturday to protest the Trump administration. Speakers at the rally included LGBTQ activist, Rayceen Pendarvis. Following the rally, demonstrators marched across the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge.
