Evry Pleasure hosted “Barbie’s World!” at Red Bear Brewing on Friday, July 14 to celebrate everything Barbie. Performers included Theo Bromide, Rosie Beret and former “RuPaul’s Drag Race” contestant Dax Exclamation Point.

A “No Kings” demonstration was held in Anacostia on Saturday to protest the Trump administration. Speakers at the rally included LGBTQ activist, Rayceen Pendarvis. Following the rally, demonstrators marched across the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge.
