Four ‘RuPaul’ contestants join local performers at Howard Theatre event

District Disco presented “Drag Me to the Disco” at Howard Theatre on Saturday. Performers included Mistress Isabelle Brooks, Jaida Essence Hall, Vanessa Vanjie Matteo and Luxx Noir London of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” as well as local drag performers Crimsyn, Cake Pop!, Crystal Edge and Druex Sidora. Music was provided by DJ Camb and DJ Boyyyish.

Pitchers DC and JR.’s Bar hosted watch parties for football fans to view the NFC championship game between the Washington Commanders and the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, Jan. 26. The Eagles defeated the Commanders with a score of 23 to 55.

The 40th annual Mr. Mid-Atlantic Leather competition was held on Sunday, Jan. 12 at the Hyatt Regency Washington. The event was one of the highlights of 2025 Mid-Atlantic Leather Weekend. Eight competitors vied for the title of Mr. Mid-Atlantic Leather 2025, with Jason Elliott named the winner.
