‘Housewives’” Zolciak on her bi dabbling

D.C. has the Salahis, New Jersey, is well, New Jersey, and now Atlanta has the bisexual.

Kim Zolciak, a mother of two and one of the original “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” returns tonight at 9 p.m. when the show starts its third season.

Back in March, Zolciak told “Life & Style” that she was bisexual and dating DJ Tracy Young. She had broken up with her boyfriend, “Big Poppa,” before meeting Young.

A week later, Zolciak told “US Magazine” that the relationship was a “one time deal” and she was still involved with “Big Poppa.”

“I have no regrets,” Zolciak said in a conference call to promote the new season. “I don’t know if I would do it again, I mean, I don’t have that answer. I’m really happy in my personal life.”

Zolciak said her and Young are still friends and thinks they always will be since they connected on a musical level first.

In a promo for the new season, Zolciak says it was no big deal that she slept with a woman and that everyone should just move on. She is now dating Kroy Biermann, 25, of the Atlanta Falcons. Zolciak is 32.

“People call me a cougar, but I’m 32, he’s 25,” she says. “I’ve never ever, ever dated somebody younger than me.”

Zolciak is working on a book informing women how to land their own “Big Poppa” and has a new single, “Google Me,” coming out Tuesday.

This season brings in a few new cast members including Phaedra Parks, an entertainment attorney and self-proclaimed “southern belle.”

“Being a southern belle, that’s just because I’m from the south and I adore the south,” Parks says. “I think some people don’t see the South as I see it.”

Parks joins the cast “under scrutiny” according to Bravo. Her husband was convicted of a “white collar crime” and did some time in prison.

Parks’ family did not know about her husband’s past before the show and were a little shocked to find out, but she doesn’t care what others think.

“I’m the only person who gets to sleep with him,” Parks says. “I’m sure a lot of people would like to.”

Parks recently gave birth to her first child, but the show features her still pregnant and planning her baby shower. The most difficult thing about the show for her was having the cameras in the delivery room.

The other new cast member is model Cynthia Bailey. Kandi Burruss, NeNe Leakes and Sheree Whitfield return with Zolciak.

“Cameras or no cameras, what you see is what you get,” Zolciak says. “This is our real lives.”
