The National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce holds National Dinner
The National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) held its annual National Dinner, “Evening of Courage,” at the National Building Museum on Nov. 18. Awardees included U.S. Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis, Wells Fargo Bank, Ernst & Young, Neil Cerbone Associates, Inc., Frantz Tiffeau of Office Depot and the Connecticut Alliance for Business Opportunities.

The Bonnet Ball was held at JR.’s Bar (1519 17th St., N.W.) on Sunday.

A “No Kings” demonstration was held in Anacostia on Saturday to protest the Trump administration. Speakers at the rally included LGBTQ activist, Rayceen Pendarvis. Following the rally, demonstrators marched across the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge.
