Busboys and Poets (2021 14th St., N.W.) presents Marga Gomez in “Pride Baby,” on Sunday from 8-10 p.m. Gomez will be doing stand-up in celebration of Pride month.

Gomez has appeared on Comedy Central, HBO, LOGO and even had a cameo in the “Batman Forever” blockbuster. She is one of the first openly lesbian comedians in the U.S., and is the winner of a GLAAD award. Her last show at Busboys and Poets was a huge sold-out success.

The themes of “Pride Baby” include lesbian cruises versus Carnival cruises, hypothetically dating Jodie Foster, growing up as a gay baby and public nudity in gay neighborhoods.

Admission is $12 in advance and $15 at the door. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit busboysandpoets.com.
