Special Agent Galactica is back with a special show next Thursday night (Oct. 16) at 8 p.m. at Chaplin’s Restaurant and Bar (1501 9th St., N.W.).

Galactica, a well-known local cabaret singer and the alter ego of Jeffrey Johnson, will perform with guitarist Peter Fields to “weave together an intimate evening of songs, stories and a good old laugh while paring together the specialty drinks of Chaplin’s with selected songs from the show, all of which stick with the old Hollywood theme of the restaurant.”

Her set will include selections from the golden age of jazz, blues and burlesque, Hollywood standards and even a few rock-era hits. A series of selected cocktails will be offered to go with various songs or you can sit back and drink whatever you like and enjoy the show. Price will be determined by cocktail consumption.
