#TweetLikeAWhiteGay became a trending hashtag on Twitter and aimed to shed light on unspoken racism in the gay community.

The campaign mocks white gay men’s behavior on social media and dating/hookup apps, saying that white gay men have prejudices against other minorities and have privileges minorities don’t.

The Twitter campaign has come under fire by other users for being hypocritical and displaying similar oppressive behavior that they’re calling out. Some tweets have been favorited almost one thousand times.
