Transgender model Andreja Pejic earns magazine cover
Transgender model Andreja Pejic received her first post-transition magazine cover on Marie Claire Spain’s March issue.
Pejic posted a photo of the monumental cover on her Instagram.Â
Before transitioning, Pejic’s androgynous look landed her numerous magazine covers, such as Elle, and runway shows. In 2014Â Pejic, 24, came out as transgender and had gender confirmation surgery the same year.
She was also the first transgender model to be profiled by Vogue in 2015.
Since then, the Australian model has been the face for cosmetic line Make Up For Ever last year giving her the honor of being one of the first transgender models to lead a beauty brand’s campaign.
