Uber offers free rides to LGBT venues in D.C.

Uber will be offering free rides to and from various LGBT venues in the District from Friday, June 17 through 11:59 p.m. on Monday, June 20.

Locations include Nellie’s Sports Bar (901 U St., N.W.), Cobalt (1639 R St., N.W.), Number Nine (1435 P St., N.W.), Town (2009 8th St., N.W.), JR’s (1519 17th St., N.W.), The D.C. Center (2000 14th St., N.W.), Casa Ruby (2822 Georgia Ave., N.W.), Whitman Walker Elizabeth Taylor Medical Center (1701 14th St., N.W.) and Phase 1 (525 8th St., S.E.).

Offer is limited to two rides per person and is only for uberX or uberPOOL.

Uber is extending this offer to 40 cities in the country. Other cities include Baltimore, New York, San Francisco, Boston and more.
