Beginning Jan. 3, PFLAG-Annapolis/Anne Arundel County will host a support group for those adults at least 18 years old who identify as LGBTQ. The meetings begin at 7:30 p.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of each month and will take place at Fahs House (behind the Unitarian Universalist Church of Annapolis), 333 Dubois Rd. in Annapolis.
“Come join us and connect in a safe, supportive environment,” Mary Moore, president of the chapter, told the Blade. “Whether you’re early in transition or you’ve been out forever, we hope you’ll come to give and get support.”
Though initial meetings have taken place beginning in May, the chapter was officially titled in June by PFLAG National. It joins other Maryland PFLAG chapters that have been established in Columbia, Westminster, Frederick, Chestertown, Bethesda, Bel Air and Salisbury.
