Pretty Boi Drag, skating group plan Black Pride celebrations

D.C. Black Pride celebrations continue throughout the weekend with various parties and events.
Pretty Boi Drag hosts a Black Pride brunch at Old Engine 12 Restaurant (1626 N Capitol St., N.W.) on Sunday, May 21 from noon-3 p.m. Admission includes a bottomless buffet. DJ Honey plays tracks. Tickets range from $30-40. For more information, visit prettyboidrag.com.
Jaywalking Productions and Makers Lab host āBlack Planet: A Black Pride Celebrationā at Tropicalia (2001 14th St., N.W.) on Sunday, May 28 from 4-8 p.m. There will be performances by the CooLots, Pretty Boi Drag and Pinky KillaCorn. CAMP Rehobothās final concert of the season is almost here
Chorus performs ‘Music of the Night’

CAMP Rehoboth Chorus will perform āMusic of the Nightā on Friday, Sept. 29 and Saturday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, Oct. 1 at 3 p.m. at Epworth United Methodist Church.
The chorus will sing more than 36 song selections, including āFly Me to the Moon,ā āI Couldāve Danced All Nightā and āIn the Still of the Nite.ā
Tickets cost $25 and can be purchased on CAMP Rehobothās website.

‘Building Space & Amplifying Voices’ event held at AT&T Forum

āLGBTQ+ in STEAM: Building Space & Amplifying Voicesā will be on Tuesday, Sept. 26 at 5 p.m. at AT&T Forum.
This event will celebrate and empower LGBTQ individuals in the science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics fields. There will be a diverse range of speakers who will share their experiences and insights on how to create more inclusive spaces and amplify LGBTQ voices in the STEAM industry.
