Alexander Wang exits as CEO of his label
former Goop executive Lisa Gersh will replace him

Alexander Wang is stepping down as CEO of his label.
Business of Fashion reports that the out designer, who founded the fashion label in 2005, will stay on board as chairman and creative director. Former Goop, Gwyneth Paltrow’s lifestyle brand, executive Lisa Gersh will take over as CEO.
“I am honored and excited by the opportunity to help Alex shape this remarkable company,” Gersh said in a statement. “The Alexander Wang brand has always represented style, innovation and an extraordinary standard of quality and excellence. I’m looking forward to working with Alex and the rest of the team to build on his foundation, and to continue to delight customers with our products and creative vision.
Stephanie Horton, former chief marketing officer of Farfetch, has also been appointed as chief strategy officer for Alexander Wang.
He has served as CEO since June 2016.
